Multilingual elevator emergency call service: Reliable live translations in case of an emergency.
Do your elevator users not understand the languages of your elevator emergency service? The solution: Our AI-supported multilingual elevator emergency service enables live translations without any reconstruction measures or investments in elevator emergency call technology. If you want to overcome language barriers in an emergency reliably and in real time, find out more here.
Effective help with AI-supported communication
If a person is locked in an elevator and does not speak German, our service employee activates the AI solution: Our AI voice bot then translates the conversation to our emergency call center in real time. This allows you to overcome language barriers efficiently and effectively. This is a great emotional relief for your international guests and elevator users, especially in medical emergencies. Because the solution is software-based, you do not need to invest in elevator technology or make any technical changes if the technology is compatible with the Bosch control center technology.

Numerous languages available
With the help of the multilingual elevator emergency call service, you can currently expand your service to include six additional languages: English, French, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), and Chinese (Mandarin). Other languages, such as Italian, Polish, and Portuguese, are to follow.
If the trapped person does not speak the local language, the control center employee can add the AI-based voice bot to the voice connection as a conference participant. The voice bot then translates the communication between the trapped person and the control center employee. The so-called status quo is maintained: The audio connection between the trapped elevator user and the control center remains until the emergency call ends, and the control center employee can hear what is being said in the elevator at any time, even if they do not understand the language.
No investment required
Elevator operators do not have to invest in elevator technology or make any technical modifications to the elevator if the technology is compatible with the Bosch control center technology. The latter means that the elevator emergency call system and the Bosch control center technology use the same communication protocol. If required, Bosch Service Solutions offers technical modifications for a communication protocol that is compatible with the Bosch control center technology.
Two-sense emergency call available
Bosch Service Solutions has been offering the elevator emergency call service since 1986. Since 2022, the emergency call service has also been available as a two-sense emergency call, also known as an emergency call for the hearing impaired. This works with the help of a display in the elevator and enables non-verbal communication. The framework conditions for the mandatory emergency call service are the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), TRBS 2181, TRBS 3121, and EN 81-28.
